When you open a policy, the full document content appears on the left side with a details panel on the right.

Document view

The left panel displays the complete policy content with sections, headings, and formatted text. Above the content, you can see:
  • Last approved date and time
  • Approve button — formally approve the current version
  • Download button — export as a document
  • Edit button — open the editor to make changes

Details panel

The right panel shows:

Controls mapping

Below the details, the Controls section shows which compliance controls this policy satisfies. You can add additional control mappings by clicking the + button and selecting controls from the list.
DSALTA pre-maps policies to the appropriate controls. You can adjust these mappings, but the defaults are designed to cover standard compliance requirements.

Comments

A comments tab allows team members and auditors to discuss the policy. Comments are visible to your entire team and any invited auditors.
