When you identify security issues with a vendor, you can send formal remediation requests directly from DSALTA. The vendor receives an email and can track their remediation progress through a dedicated portal.

Creating a remediation request

1

Select risks

Choose which specific security findings you want the vendor to address.
2

Set deadline and reminders

Assign a due date for the remediation and configure email reminders for the vendor.
3

Add a contact

Select or add the vendor contact who should receive the request. Provide their name, email, and optionally their position and phone number.
4

Add a message

Include a personalized message that will appear in the remediation request email.
5

Review and send

Confirm the details and send. The vendor receives an email with instructions to complete the remediation.

Tracking remediations

Once sent, you can track the status of each remediation request — the vendor name, submission date, due date, and current status. When the vendor completes the remediation, their security score is updated in the next scan cycle.
Set up automatic reminders so vendors do not forget about pending remediations as deadlines approach.
