Creating a remediation request
1
Select risks
Choose which specific security findings you want the vendor to address.
2
Set deadline and reminders
Assign a due date, then pick a reminder date — 30 days, 2 weeks, 1 week, or 5 days before it. DSALTA stores that date on the request and shows it as Reminder Date on the request’s details, so treat it as your own cue to chase the vendor. The vendor is emailed once, when you send the request.
3
Add a contact
Select or add the vendor contact who should receive the request. Provide their name, email, and optionally their position and phone number.
4
Add a message
Include a personalized message that will appear in the remediation request email.
5
Review and send
Confirm the details and send. The vendor receives an email with instructions to complete the remediation.
