The Training page tracks security awareness training completion across your team. Auditors need evidence that employees receive regular security training — this module provides that evidence.

How training works

A training in DSALTA is a video plus instructions, assigned to one or more personnel groups. Data Library → Training lists each training as a row showing:
  • The training name
  • A completion progress bar and percentage
  • Members — how many people the training is assigned to
  • Done — how many of them have completed it
  • An active/inactive toggle
  • A menu for editing and deleting the training
Click a row to preview the video and its Instructions for personnel.

Creating and assigning training

  1. Go to Data Library → Training and click New training.
  2. Fill in Training name and, optionally, Instructions for personnel.
  3. Set Status to Active or Inactive.
  4. Under Assign To, pick one or more groups. This is required — training is assigned to groups, not to individual employees. New members added to a group pick up its trainings automatically.
  5. Under Training video, paste a direct video link or upload a file (MP4, MOV, AVI or WEBM, max. 20MB).
  6. Click Create training.

Tracking completion

The Training list shows the completion percentage and the Members / Done counts for each training. Data Library → People has a Security Training column with each person’s completed-vs-assigned count, labeled Completed or In progress. Employees complete their trainings in the employee portal under Watch required security trainings, by watching each video through and clicking Mark trainings as completed. DSALTA records the completion timestamp against the person. To chase outstanding trainings, use Send Task Reminder on Data Library → People — it emails everyone a link back to their portal task list. These records serve as audit evidence for SOC 2 (CC1.4) and ISO 27001 (A.7.2.2) training requirements.
