Documents

The Documents in DSALTA acts as a central repository for all compliance-related documents required for your audit readiness.

What you’ll see on the Documents page

  • Summary

    • Shows total number of documents tracked (e.g. 0/177 Total documents).

  • Document list

    • Document name — The title of each document.

    • Frameworks — Lists which frameworks the document supports (e.g. SOC 2, ISO 27001:2022).

    • Owner — The person responsible for managing the document.

    • Files — Number of uploaded files.

    • Links — Number of linked URLs or references.

You can search or filter by framework to easily locate documents.


Document details panel

When you click on a document, a side panel opens showing:

  • Description — Purpose and guidance for the document (e.g. Access request ticket and history gives examples of acceptable evidence like tickets or approval emails for system access).

  • Source — Indicates origin (e.g. DSALTA).

  • Owner — Person accountable (can assign here).

  • Frequency — How often the document should be updated.

  • Results — Evidence status (e.g. No evidence).

  • Evidence tab

    • Displays uploaded files and provides an Add Files button to upload additional evidence directly.

    • Shows number of files attached and lets you manage them easily.

  • Controls tab

    • Lists which controls this document supports.

  • Audits Results / Notes

    • Displays related audit outcomes and allows notes entry for documentation or clarification.


Adding a new document

To add a document:
Click the + Add Document button.
Fill in:

  • Document Name

  • Description (optional but helpful)

Attach evidence:

  • Drag and drop or browse to upload files (up to 25MB each).

  • Add URLs if the document is hosted externally.

Click Create Document to save it.

Your document will then appear in the list, ready to be mapped to controls or reviewed by stakeholders.
