Frameworks

This guide explains how to track evidence status, monitor control completion, and activate new frameworks to align with your organization.

Updated over 2 months ago

Active tab

The Active tab lists all frameworks your organization is currently working on. For each framework (e.g. SOC 2, ISO 27001:2022, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS), you’ll see:

  • Evidence Status — The percentage of required evidence you’ve collected.

  • Control Completion — The percentage of controls you’ve fulfilled.

This view helps you quickly assess where you stand with each active framework.

Available tab

The Available tab displays frameworks recommended for your organization, based on overlap and relevance. For each framework card:

  • You’ll see tags (e.g. Security, Data protection) and a progress circle.

  • Click "Manage" to activate or deactivate, or begin configuring the framework for your organization.

Overview tab

The Overview tab provides a high-level summary of your progress:

  • Evidence completion — Displays the overall percentage of evidence passing for the framework, with breakdowns by:

    • Automated tests

    • Documents

    • Policies

  • Control status — Shows the percentage of controls with completed evidence and counts for:

    • Passed

    • Failed

    • Needs attention

    • No evidence

  • Framework description — Provides details about the framework (e.g. audit steps, relevant industries, benefits of compliance).

Use this tab to get a quick snapshot of where you stand with the selected framework.

Requirements tab

The Requirements tab gives a detailed view of all requirements you need to meet:

  • Left panel — Lists requirement categories (e.g. Context of the Organization, Leadership, Planning, etc.).

  • Main view — Displays controls within the selected category, showing:

    • Control ID and name

    • Owner

    • Test status

    • Evidence status

  • Progress bars — For tests, documents, and policies linked to the controls, with completion percentages.

This tab helps you drill down into specific controls, assign owners, and track detailed compliance activities.

How to use these views

  • Start from the Overview tab to assess your overall readiness.

  • Move to the Requirements tab to address specific gaps by adding evidence, assigning owners, and completing tests.

  • Regularly monitor percentages and status indicators to stay on track for certification.
