Controls

It helps you manage audit requirements efficiently by tracking progress, assigning ownership, and monitoring evidence and test results.

What you’ll see on the Controls page

  • Progress summary

    • Displays the total number of controls and how many are marked as OK.

    • Shows the overall percentage of controls with completed evidence.

  • Control status indicators

    • Passed — Controls with complete, verified evidence.

    • Failed — Controls that did not meet requirements.

    • Needs attention — Controls with incomplete or problematic evidence.

    • No evidence — Controls with no submitted evidence.

  • Control list

    • ID & Control name — Each control’s unique identifier and title.

    • Framework — The compliance framework the control belongs to (e.g. SOC 2, ISO 27001:2022).

    • Owner — The person responsible for managing the control.

    • Test status — Tracks completion of linked automated tests.

    • Evidence status — Shows how much required evidence has been provided.

Use search, status, and framework filters to quickly locate specific controls.


Control details panel

Clicking on a control opens a detailed side panel where you can:

  • Review the control description, risk level, frequency, and score.

  • Assign an owner.

  • See mapped elements — linked policies, documents, and tests, along with their completion status.

  • Review audit results related to the control.


How to use the Controls page

  • Prioritize high-risk controls to close gaps that matter most.

  • Assign owners to make accountability clear.

  • Upload evidence and link policies/tests directly from the control detail panel.

  • Track overall compliance health by regularly checking the status indicators.
