Policies

The Policies in DSALTA helps you review, manage, and approve key policies that are essential for your compliance programs.

What you’ll see on the Policies page

  • Review and Approve Policies summary

    • Displays how many policies have been approved (e.g. 0/35 Approved).

    • Reminds you that a set of approved policies is required for audit readiness.

  • Policy list

    • Policy name — The title of each policy.

    • Frameworks — Lists which compliance frameworks the policy supports (e.g. SOC 2, ISO 27001:2022).

    • Owner — The individual responsible for maintaining the policy.

    • Status — Approval status of the policy (e.g. Pending).

    • Last approved — Date when the policy was last approved (if applicable).

Use search and framework filters to narrow down the list.


Policy details panel

Clicking on a policy opens a side panel with detailed information:

  • Description — Summary of the policy’s purpose (e.g. scope of the ISMS).

  • Metadata

    • ID — Unique policy identifier (e.g. POL-1).

    • Source — Indicates origin (e.g. DSALTA-generated).

    • Owner — Person responsible (can be assigned here).

    • Results — Shows if evidence has been provided.

  • Policy document

    • View the document version.

    • See last edit date.

    • Option to Edit the policy document if you have permission.

    • Approval history (e.g. No Approvals Yet if none have been made).


How to use the Policies page

  • Assign owners to ensure accountability for each policy.

  • Review and update policies regularly to align with best practices.

  • Submit policies for approval as part of your audit preparation.

  • Track frameworks linked to each policy to ensure full coverage.
