Frameworks Overview

Updated over 2 months ago

The Frameworks page lets your organization manage the compliance standards you follow, such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and others. This page provides an at‑a‑glance view of your progress collecting evidence and completing controls for each framework. It also enables you to activate new frameworks as your compliance program grows.

What You’ll See

  • Header and Description – A brief explanation that you can browse and manage all frameworks here, track evidence and control completion, and activate new frameworks.

  • Active / Available Tabs – Switch between frameworks you are actively tracking and frameworks available to add. The Active tab shows those currently in use; Available lists frameworks not yet activated.

  • Search Bar – A search box allows you to quickly filter the frameworks list by name.

  • Column Headers – The main table is sortable by Framework Name, Evidence Status, and Control Completion.

  • Framework Rows – Each row shows:

    • Framework Name – The title and icon of the standard (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA).

    • Evidence Status – A percentage indicator showing how much of the required evidence has been collected.

    • Control Completion – A percentage indicator reflecting how many controls have been completed.

    • More Options – An actions button (three dots) opens a menu with options like viewing details, editing, or removing the framework.

  • Rows Per Page & Pagination – A dropdown lets you choose how many rows to display (e.g., 10, 25). Pagination controls help navigate through multiple pages if you have many frameworks.

  • Add Framework Button – A floating green plus button in the bottom right corner lets you activate a new framework.

How to Use This Page

View Progress for Active Frameworks

  1. Select the Active Tab if it’s not already selected.

  2. Review the Evidence Status and Control Completion columns for each framework. The percentages help you see at a glance where you stand.

  3. To delve deeper, click on a framework row or the actions menu to open its detail page, where you’ll see individual controls, evidence items, and policy documents.

Search for a Framework

  1. Click into the Search box near the top.

  2. Start typing the name of the framework. The list filters automatically as you type.

  3. Clear the search field to return to the full list.

Add a New Framework

  1. Click the green Add Framework button at the bottom right of the page.

  2. A modal or page will open where you can select from available frameworks.

  3. Choose the framework you want to add and confirm. It will then appear in the Active tab with progress starting at 0 %.

Switch Between Active and Available Frameworks

  • Click Available to view a list of frameworks you can activate. Each row typically shows the name of the framework and may provide an option to activate it.

  • When you activate a framework, it moves to the Active tab.

Use More Options on a Framework

  1. In a framework row, click the three‑dot Actions button on the right.

  2. Options may include View Details, Edit Settings, Deactivate, or Delete, depending on your permissions.

  3. Choose the desired action. For example, View Details takes you to the framework’s control list, evidence uploads, and documents.

Adjust Rows Per Page

  • At the bottom left of the table, use the Rows per page dropdown to select how many frameworks appear at once.

  • This is helpful if you manage many frameworks and want to see more or fewer on screen.

Navigate Through Multiple Pages

  • If you have many frameworks activated, use the pagination arrows at the bottom right to move between pages.

  • The current page number and total pages are displayed (e.g., “Page 1 of 2”).

Tips for Non‑Technical Users

  • Hover for Details – Hovering over the progress indicators often reveals exact percentage values.

  • No Data Yet? – If evidence or control completion shows 0 %, it simply means those tasks haven’t been started.

  • Activate Slowly – Add new frameworks one at a time to avoid overwhelming your team. You can always come back and activate more from the Available tab.

  • Use the Search when you have many frameworks; it’s faster than scrolling.
