What are Questionnaires in DSALTA?
The Questionnaires section helps you manage inbound and outbound security questionnaires from customers, partners, or regulators.
You can upload questionnaires, track progress, generate answers using DSALTA AI, and reuse approved responses across future requests.
This section is designed to reduce manual work and keep answers consistent and audit-ready.
Viewing your questionnaires
On the Questionnaires page, you can see all active and completed questionnaires in a single list.
Each questionnaire shows:
Progress (percentage completed)
Status (Pending, In Progress, Completed)
Owner
Due date
Creation date
Creating a new questionnaire
To create a new questionnaire:
Click New Questionnaire
Fill in:
Questionnaire Name
Company Name
Domain
Due Date
Upload a CSV questionnaire file
Click Create Questionnaire
If you’ve reached your questionnaire limit, you’ll see a notification to contact DSALTA support.
Working inside a questionnaire
When you open a questionnaire, you’ll see:
A progress bar showing completion status
A list of questions and answers
Approval status for each answer
Answers can be:
Generated or suggested by DSALTA AI
Reviewed and edited manually
Approved by assigned reviewers
Reviewing and approving answers
Clicking on a question opens the Answer panel, where you can:
Select Yes / No / N/A
Review or edit the explanation
See whether the answer was generated by DSALTA AI
Assign or change the Owner
Approve and move to the next question
Knowledge Base
The Knowledge Base stores documents, reports, and links that support your questionnaire answers.
You can:
Add resources via URL or file upload
Mark resources as usable in questionnaires
Reuse the same evidence across multiple questionnaires
Answer Library
The Answer Library is a centralized collection of pre-approved answers.
It helps you:
Maintain consistent responses
Speed up future questionnaires
Reduce repetitive writing
Each answer includes:
The question
Approved response text
Owner and approver
Last update date
