# My Tasks

> Manage all compliance tasks assigned to you, organized by urgency and SLA.

My Tasks is your personal compliance to-do list. It aggregates every task assigned to you or your team across all compliance areas — policies, documents, tests, risk register entries, and questionnaires — into a single, prioritized view.

<Note>
  Tasks are automatically assigned based on security roles. When you assign a person to a role (e.g., InfoSec Officer), all related tasks are automatically linked to them with appropriate SLAs.
</Note>

## Task organization

Tasks are grouped by urgency to help you prioritize your work:

| Section                | Description                                               |
| ---------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Overdue** | "Overdue tasks with past due dates." |
| **Urgent** | "Urgent tasks with due dates in 7 days." |
| **Upcoming Due Dates** | "Upcoming tasks with due dates set to later than 7 days." |
| **Not scheduled** | "Not scheduled tasks with no set due dates." |

Each section header carries a count and collapses.

## Filtering options

Use the tabs and filters at the top to focus on what matters:

<CardGroup cols={3}>
  <Card title="All" icon="list">
    Every task across the workspace.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Assigned to me" icon="user">
    Only tasks where you are the owner.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Unassigned Tasks" icon="user-slash">
    Tasks that need an owner assigned.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

You can further filter by **Status** — Not Run, Not Approved, In Progress, Failed, Pending, Completed, Approved, Passed — and by **Category** — Policy, Document, Test, Risk Register, Questionnaire.

## Task SLAs

Each task includes an SLA based on its type — typically 7 or 30 days. SLAs are assigned automatically when the task is created, ensuring accountability and timely completion.

<Tip>
  Work through tasks in order: **Overdue → Urgent → Upcoming**. Click any task to navigate directly to the page where you can take action — whether that is uploading a document, approving a policy, or reviewing a test result.
