# Control Detail

> View evidence, monitoring, risk scenarios, and cross-framework mappings for any control.

The Control Detail drawer slides in from the right when you click any control row. It provides a 360-degree view of that control without navigating away from the current page.

## Control metadata

At the top of the drawer, you will see:

| Field         | Description                                                             |
| ------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **ID**        | Unique identifier (e.g., HRS-1, GOV-2)                                  |
| **Source**    | Always reads **DSALTA**                                                 |
| **Owner** | The team member responsible — click to assign or change |
| **Scope** | **In scope** or **Not in scope**, with a link to flip it |
| **Frequency** | See the warning below — this row does not describe a schedule |
| **Results** | Current status — **Completed**, **Needs attention**, or **No evidence** |

## Three tabs

<CardGroup cols={3}>
  <Card title="Evidence & Monitoring" icon="eye">
    All policies, documents, and tests mapped to this control. A green checkmark indicates completion. You can add or remove evidence items directly from this tab.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Risk Scenarios" icon="triangle-exclamation">
    Pre-evaluated risk scenarios that this control mitigates. Each scenario includes severity and a description.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Mapped Frameworks" icon="diagram-project">
    Every compliance framework this control applies to, enabling cross-framework efficiency.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

## Evidence completion logic

A control is marked **Completed** when all evidence items (policies, documents, and tests) show a green checkmark. If any item is incomplete, the control shows **Needs attention**. If no evidence exists at all, it shows **No evidence**.

<Info>
  A single control can map to multiple frameworks. Completing evidence for one framework automatically satisfies the same control in other frameworks where it is mapped.
</Info>
