The Policies & People step helps you establish the internal foundation of your compliance program.

This section focuses on creating policies, defining responsibilities, and assigning ownership so every control has a clear owner.

Policies

DSALTA automatically generates framework-aligned policies such as:

  • Access Control Policy

  • Incident Response Plan

  • Risk Management Policy

  • Information Security Policy

  • Third-Party Management Policy

Each policy comes with prefilled content that you can review, customize, and publish.


Policies are designed to be audit-ready and mapped directly to your selected framework.


Assigning ownership

Every policy and control requires an owner.

In this step, you can assign responsibilities to team members across Security, Legal, HR, and Operations to ensure accountability.

This ensures auditors can clearly see who is responsible for each area.


Personnel Hub

The Personnel Hub centralizes people-related compliance tasks, including:

  • Sending policies for review and acknowledgment

  • Assigning policies to employees

  • Managing people-related compliance activities

This helps keep policy acceptance and responsibility tracking in one place.
